DeBorah Strong
DeBorah Strong born in Gary, Indiana moved to Milwaukee in 1990 seeking employment opportunities. After working several years in food service and manufacturing, and upon great encouragement, she decided to make significant changes to improve the quality of her life and the lives of her sons. In 2002, she graduated from Milwaukee Area Technical College with an Associate Degree in Human Service with a concentration in Substance Abuse Counseling. Shortly after, in 2010, she graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. She has worked with at-risk youth, DOC clients, and clients in the Medication Assistant Treatment Program. In 2023, DeBorah completed a Master's Degree in Education with a concentration in Mental Health. She is currently licensed by the State of Wisconsin as a Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor.
Franciscan Peacemakers has been instrumental in assisting DeBorah through these life-changing situations and she is grateful to be able to give back to the community.
