Pat’s involvement began when she read a newspaper article about Fr. Bob and Fr. Mike, founders of Franciscan Peacemakers, as they were beginning their ministry on the streets of Milwaukee. She knew at that time that she needed to be involved in whatever she could do to help. With a background in marketing and communications, Pat has been contributing as a volunteer in a variety of capacities since that time. She has always had a passion for peace, justice, and equality, with a particular interest in support of women’s struggles. Pat earned her Certificate in Lay Ministry from St. Francis de Sales Seminary; is an active volunteer with her parish; and is recently retired after 46 years with a major manufacturer. She and her husband, Larry, have 2 adult children.
